For the finale of the hit series Project Runway, Jennifer Hudson was spotted as a guest judge for the show. Miss Hudson wore an emerald crepe blazer and jumpsuit from Michael Kors’s Resort 2013 collection and Charlotte Olympia Dolly Leather Platform Pumps. The show is a competition among multiple un-discovered designers in which each week a challenge is given to the designers and the weakest designer is voted off. Each designer fights for their spot and in the end of the series, there is the fashion show that show cases the designers collection they have worked on for a number of weeks. At the end of the show, the judges decide who had the strongest winning collection. The winner receives start-up money for their brand along with other prizes.

The Project Runway Spring 2013 fashion show was held during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at The Theatre at Lincoln Center on September 7, 2012.
