The spring Rodarte collection is one to stand out at New York Fashion Week. The Rodarte collection played upon a dark medieval tone. Dresses shadowed similar silhouettes of ancient warriors and samurais. Most of the dresses had a color block breast plate of fabric, while other dresses featured metal corset like plates, with a raised shoulder, creating a deep strong tone as the models walked down the runway.

Other looks included the similar breastplate concept, but on a top, which was paired with an edgy biker, pant. The leather pant featured ties, which laced up from the very bottom to the very top.
