Shopping online can be a headache. Kind of like going to the grocery store for toothpaste and being thrust into a mile long aisle of options. Looking for a pair of black open toed Mary Janes? Google it, and wait for 1,600,000+ results to come up.  So when this story from the New York Times debuted recently, it was like a breath of fresh air. There’s a new wave of shopping sites sprouting up on the web, kicking Gilt and the likes to the curb. Send the Trend, ShoeDazzle, JustFabulous and  Sole Society are the new sites on the block for the frustrated shopper in all of us. These new “e-tailers” use algorithms in the same way Netflix chooses movies based on your tastes and Pandora suggests music from tracks your like. The fine print? Many of these new shopping sites, require a membership fee, so in order to get that custom service, you may need to pay up. Hmm. We'll think about it.

Check out a few of the items we're feeling from Send The Trend
