If the Marchesa show could be summed up in one word it would be India. The collection, which sported vibrant colors and gold embellishments, flowed down the runway. The Indian inspiration was found not just in the patterns and fabrics used, but also in draped dresses with elaborate surface adornments, colorful saris, midriff-exposing ghagra choli.

Front row of the show included celebrity guest Kim Kardashian and Kanye West alongside model Tyra Banks and actess Stacy Keibler, Kelly Osbourne, actress Jenna Dewan, Michelle Trachtenberg and designer Rachel Roy.
