DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown is hitting the streets with sounds to soothe the soul. Queen of neo-soul, Erykah Badu, is set to release her first official mixtape. Badu, an artist who stands in a category all her own, says she can "melt any DJ's face off in the building." She announced her latest project at a film screening in LA, after presenting a 2009 film "The Invention of Lying." Check out Badu bringing the soul sensation of her artistry to the art realm of Disc Jockey. The mixtape featuring her alter ego, Lo Down Loretta Brown, is set to drop this month! 

Be prepared for the sound of Badu's new project. She says it's a "Dance Project" and she'll also be headlining at the hip hop festival, Rock The Bells! Performing songs from her first debut album "Baduizm," Rock The Bells is a summer series concert which will start August 20th and end September 10th in Boston.
