The 43th Annual NAACP Image Awards was a memorable night on Friday. The annual award show was hosted by Sanaa Lathan and Anthony Mackie. It was a night to recognize artists, musicians, actors, and writers. There was a moving musical tribute to Whitey Houston sung by Yolanda Adams
Some of the top winners were Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Tracee Ellis Ross, Salim and Mara Brock Akil, and Jennifer Hudson just to name a few. The night was full of entertainment and emotion and the stars shined on the red carpet for this remarkable and unforgettable night.
