Beauty girls and enthusiasts made their way to the Lower East Side of Manhattan for “Brunch with EDEN” hosted by EDEN BodyWorks at posh restaurant Beauty & Essex. The girls indulged in a four-course brunch including scrumptious beignets with raspberry jam.
After a delightful brunch and socializing, the real conversation began with a panel discussion moderated by T. Bernie of COCOACHIC featuring Style Editor for EBONY.com, Geneva S. Thomas; and Trichologist Dr. Kari Williams. The conversation generated questions that truly resonated with "Brunch with EDEN" guests including: #Teamnatural vs. #Teamrelaxed, is it divisive or proud and supportive? Does your hair define who you are? How has your dating life been impacted by your hair choices?
Guests shared their hair experiences and issues that have affected their everyday life decisions. Beauty contributor for ThisThatBeauty.com, Christene Carr shared how her hair sets the tune for her everyday style and how hats sometimes come in handy. At the conclusion of the conversation, most of the women realized how much they actually have in common when it comes to their hair regardless if it is natural or relaxed, braids or extensions.
