The Betsey Johnson show is always a spectacle to see, but this Fall 2011 show was the most creatively pleasing when it came to beauty. Maybelline New York took the flapper meets sex grunge clothing that inspired the bold daring makeup. Blue and gold shadows were splattered across the eyes of the models like a masquerade ball mask with shiny red lips, leaving the perfect finishing touch to compliment each model. Hair was even more visually pleasing; wigs were cut in a blunt asymmetrical bob and spray painted with gradated gold around the middle and a black lace stencil was then spray painted in the midst of the gold to show the emphasis of the lace effect.
