You are only young once. Multi-talented musician Kyla Imani is enjoying every aspect of her youth while sharing her talents with the world. She broke the Internet back in 2014 with her age-appropriate version of Beyonce’s “7/11” video. Now she has released her new visual EP Sweet Tea.

In the EP, Kyla Imani narrates her story beginning with early footage of her childhood reminiscing on sweet moments leading up to her life today. At just 14-years-old she is using her voice to create age appropriate music, and encouraging young people that “staying true to yourself is so important. It is fun being a kid, no need to force it forward,” she advises.

Sweet Tea is inspired by Beyonce’s Lemonade. The visual includes moments with her friends, being grateful for her family, the importance of education, and following your dreams. There is wonderful collection of songs including “The Weekend,” the reflective “Nobody’s Perfect” and the catchy tunes “Turn Up,” “Good Times,” and “Showtime.” Throughout the EP she drops many nuggets of wisdom and encouragement for all.

Kyla Imani’s Sweet Tea is available on iTunes, Apple Music, Tidal, and Spotify.
