Saturday evening marked the final White House Correspondents’ Dinner of President Obama’s term and a host of Hollywood and Washington’s brightest stars flawlessly aligned to wish him well.
Throughout the night, the C-Span cameras spotted a handful of familiar faces in entertainment and politics enjoying the festivities, but before they made their way inside for the invite-only affair, they stopped by the red carpet in glamorous fashion.
Here’s a run down of some of our favorite fashion and beauty looks from the evening.
First Lady Michelle Obama was stunning in a champagne-colored Givenchy Haute Couture gown with detailed embroidery and beautifully crystalized embellishments.
Primetime queens Kerry Washington and Tracee Ellis-Ross both looked regal in all-black. Tracee opted for a halter gown with deep plunging neckline and waistline cut-outs by Jovani Fashions. Kerry kept it short and sweet in a one-shoulder Victoria Beckham original with ruffle detailing at the hem.
Actress Gugu-Mbatha Raw looked radiant in a gorgeous blue and purple floral gown, while fellow actress Regina King was a vision in a long-sleeved white gown.
Gabrielle Union turned heads in a strapless, black and blue design by Naeem Khann, which she described as “one of my favorite dresses” ever.
Lala Anthony brought a little bit of spring and summer to the red carpet alongside husband Carmelo Anthony in a beautiful hot pink mermaid gown by designer Roland Mouret.
Qunatico beauty Priyanka Chopra kept her look simple but uber stylish in a tiered black Zuhair Murad dress with mesh detailing.
Always classy on the carpet, Jada Pinkett-Smith was all smiles as she posed for a few photos in this royal purple, one shoulder gown alongside husband Will Smith. Jada told fans she chose the color “in honor of Prince, who was king.”
Last but certainly not least, actress Vivica A. Fox was a doll in an embellished, white Jenny Packham gown, while NBC News correspondent Tamron Hall glittered in a bronze halter gown by designer Sophie Theallet.
