Ingredients: romaine lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, green and red peppers
Spinach is known to have both protein and calcium among other agents that promote health. After mixing the romaine and spinach simply add tomatoes, cucumbers, and green and red peppers.
Ingredients: romaine lettuce, dandelion, kale, yellow peppers, cucumbers, beets, and carrots.
Dandelion is known to relieve acne, anemia, urinary disorders as well as maintain bone health, skin care and weight loss. Because of the bitter taste it needed some nursing before it was included in the salad. I sautéed the dandelion in lemon juice, cayenne pepper and garlic and let it cool. I then added it to the salad.
Kale is known to strengthen your immune system, aid in digestion and lower cholesterol, the vegetable also helps your skin, hair, and bones. I soaked the kale in lemon juice and garlic before I added it to the salad.
